Airways New Zealand's operational network and services are continuing to function as normal following this morning's earthquakes.
There were restrictions earlier on services at Woodbourne and Paraparaumu, however standard services resumed from 09:30am following assessment of our facilities.

Airways New Zealand’s operational network is operating normally with limited impact on operations following the earthquakes in Christchurch this morning.
There have been minimal delays of no greater than 20 minutes and these are expected to be cleared by 11am, providing there are no further aftershocks.
There are restrictions on services at Woodbourne and Paraparaumu while we await confirmation on the status of our towers. Nelson was back up and running at 7am. All other aerodromes remain unaffected at this time.

Airways New Zealand’s operational network is largely operating as normal with limited impact on main trunk operations following the earthquakes in Christchurch this morning.
The Christchurch air traffic control tower and navigation aids are fully operational. The Wellington tower is fully operational although we are still checking navigation aids.
There are restrictions on services at Nelson, Woodbourne and Paraparaumu while we await confirmation on the status of our towers.
All other aerodromes remain unaffected at this time.

Airways New Zealand's operational network is currently operating as normal following the earthquakes in Christchurch this morning.
We are carrying out checks on equipment and will be sending out NOTAMS (notices to pilots) regarding use of navigational equipment until it is checked.
We are prioritising the main trunk airports and the radar centre before assessing regional locations.
We will provide an update at around 5am.
